Guest readers from the Annapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta sorority will share favorite read-alouds. 3 to 5 pm. 
Come dressed as your favorite storybook character! Free with museum admission.

Sunday, February 9: First Aider 
Learn how to use 9-1-1 and other quick thinking responses to emergencies. 
First Aid badge activities for Girl 
Scouts, and First Responder for 
Webelos. Open to non-scouts, 
too, ages 7-12.

Girl Scout Juniors complete activities and plan a service project to earn this Journey award. 9 am to 5 pm. Bring a bag lunch. $27. One adult free for 5 Juniors. Extra adults $4 each. Must pre-register.

Sunday, Feb. 23: World of Girls 
Girl Scout Brownies engage in crafts and folktales from around the world. End with 
a service project to benefit children close to home. $22 per Brownie. 1 adult free 
for every 5. Extra adults $4 each. Bring a 
bag lunch. Snack is provided. 

Sat.-Sun. Feb. 22-23: aMaze Journey 
G.S. Cadettes twist and turn through 
relationships and “drama” and end with plans to carry out a Peace Project. 2 pm 
to 9 am. Bring a bag dinner and overnight gear. $50 includes snack and breakfast. 
1 adult free for 5 scouts. $10 extra adult.

The Skin You Live In - Monday Jan 20th



Celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a hands-on program about how we are different but just the same, too. Ages 6 to 12. Two sessions: 10:30 am - noon. 1 - 2:30 pm. $12 per child. Group rate of $8 for 5 or more. 
Free for accompanying adults. 

Chinese New Year - Sunday Jan. 26th



Welcome the Year of the Rat with crafts, stories, and traditional foods. If we make enough noise with our dragon parade we’ll scare away the bad spirits!

Kwanzaa Celebrations - Dec 26



Participate in activities related to the 7 principles of this African-American holiday. Make a drum. Make a gift. Take part in acting out traditional African folktales. All ages. 
10:30 am. Free with admission. 

New Year's Eve Celebrations - Dec 31



CCM is open 10 am to 5:30 pm. Crafts and traditions from around the world to ring out the old year and welcome in 2020. Watch the early fireworks show at 5:30 pm from CCM’s prime location!

Dinosaur / Fossil Days - Oct 13 & 16th

Dinosaur facts and fun for all ages. Go on a bone hunt. Measure out the size of ancient creatures. Make your own 15-minute fossil! Sunday, 2-4PM.

Masks and Costumes for Day of the Dead


Get ready for Day of the Dead making masks and costumes for the parade! We will also have interactive folk tales in Spanish and English. All ages. 3-5 pm. Free with admission.

Save the Butterflies - Sunday August 4th


Girl Scout Gold Award candidate Noel Doney presents her project about protecting butterfly habitats. Crafts for ages 6 and up. 2 pm. Free for Girl Scouts! Otherwise, included with $5 admission.

Tye-Dye and Batik - Sunday August 11th


All materials provided or bring a plain white t-shirt. Dress appropriately for creating with dye and hot wax. 2-4 pm Ages 5-12 yrs. $30 / $25 CCM members

Aviation Day - Sunday August 18th


Learn about the contributions of the Wright Brothers and the Wright Sister, as well as other early
aviators through hands-on activities with flyable objects. 1-4 pm. $5 per person, ages 1 and up, includes museum admission

Weekly conversation among the adults while 0-2-year-olds play. Discussions will be led by Dr. Deborah Wood and occasional guests.

Kitchen Convo - M-F July 8-12

What language can you speak when your mouth is full? American Sign Language! Learn signs as you cook and dine on pita pizza, banana ice cream, turkey meat- balls, deviled eggs, fruit kabobs and lots of fresh veggies. Ages 5 to 10 and accompanying adults. One adult may bring up to 3 children. 5:30 - 7:30 pm. $50 each.
