Whitewash Weekend - April 30 - Comcast Cares

Roll up your sleeves and join in the fun—borrowing from Tom Sawyer’s approach to rounding up extra hands, ask what you can bring! Crew leaders are needed for tasks including: exterior wall painting, indoor cleaning, and installing new flooring downstairs. Register through Facebook or Comcast at: www.comcastinthecommunity.com/

Saturday, March 12 - Lead On, Harriet!

Learn about a famous conductor on the Underground Railroad and take a “ride” to freedom! Harriet Tubman comes to life in our award-winning hands-on history program. Ages 9 to adults. 7 - 9 pm. $10. One adult is admitted free for every 5 children in your group.

Sunday, March 13 - Animal Party

Meet live animals and learn about their care and natural habitats. Girl Scout Brownies will fulfill requirements for the Pets badge. Girl Scout Juniors will fulfill requirements for the Animal Habitats badge. Non-scouts of all ages are welcome. 9am-12 noon or1-4 pm. $8 per child. $3 per adult. Reservations are required for a group rate which grants free admission to an adult with 5 or more children.

Susan Campbell Park (City Dock) - Annapolis Drum and Bugle Corps and flag raising. “Bricks of Annapolis” walking tour by Watermark - starting at City Dock. Maryland State House - Put your family event on an interactive timeline that will be stored at Maryland State Archives. Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts - Open House with demonstrations, performances, and hands-on creativity. Londontown - colonial children's dress-ups, rope making, oral history interviews.

Sat., Feb.6: Healthy Me Brownie Day

Move, eat, and play in a healthy way to complete 3 badges: Making Friends, Snacks, and My Best Self. For Girl Scout Brownies and girls in 2nd and 3rd grade interested in scouting.New session: 2 - 5:30 pm. $8 per girl. $3 per accompanying adult or tag along sibling

Mother Goose and other guest readers share their Seuss favorites with children ages 2-5. 10:30 am. Free with admission.
