Monday - Friday  August 7-11th: Camp Kunte Kinte


Experience the culture of west Africa. Share traditional crafts, games, drumming, dancing and Ananse stories. Snacks feature tropical fruits. Ages 6 to 10. 9 am to 12 noon. $135. CCM members: $125. Must pre-register

Saturday August 12th: Kunte Kinte Family Festival



Take a mini-vaca on to West Africa! Learn some drumming rhythms. Make a spirit mask. Take part in Ananse stories. Play a game of Mancala. Special guest Kwame Anseh-Brew, of the Performing Arts Center of African Cultures will take us on a Musical Journey to Africa with traditional instruments. 10 am to 1 pm. Free with $5 admission. 

Saturday August 19th & Sunday August 20th: Aviation Day


Since 1939, the shared birthday of Orville and Katherine Wright is recognized to honor their and their brother Wilbur’s achievements in making human  flight possible. Learn more about the Wright siblings and other pioneers in the history of  flight. Make and test your paper aircrafts. 2-4 pm. All ages. Free with admission.
