It's Kwanzaa!!: Saturday December 30th

All are welcome to participate in a family celebration of African values. Learn the meaning behind each of the seven days. Beat out a rhythm in the drum circle. Take part in Ananse tales.  Crafts too!   In partnership with the Kunta Kinte  Festival.  11 am.  Free with admission.

New Years Eve Celebrations: Sunday December 31st

Get a head start on saying good - bye to 2017 and heralding in the new year. CCM is open 10 am to 3 pm with crafts to help you celebrate: crowns, noisemakers, and Chinese yo - yo's! Free with admission. 
Then head over to Weems-Whalen Field for the City of Annapolis Children's Celebration. CCM will be providing Crafts from 3:00-5:30, then there will be a Fireworks show!!

Picture Perfect Story Time - Friday November 10th


Enjoy crafts and readings of two new picture books: I Love You Like a Pig by Marc Barnett and On A Magical Do-Nothing Day by Beatrice Alemagna. Lead On, Harriet! Friday and Saturday Nov. 10 & 11

7:00pm - 9:00pm

Take a ride on the Underground Railroad with Marylands famous conductor, Harriet Tubman. This award winning history program is intended for ages 9 to adult. Preregistration is required. A portion of the program is outside. Please dress accordingly. Girl Scout Juniors earn
the Playing the Past badge. A participation patch is available for $2. $10.
One adult free for 
every 5 children. 

Animal Party - Saturday November 18th


Meet the animals that live in the museum. Take a nature hike to look for signs of native animals outside. Girl Scout Brownies can earn the Pets badge by making animal toys and treats. Girl Scout Juniors can earn the Animal Habitats badge by giving a presentation on endangered habitats. Non-scouts are welcome. Please specify if you are registering for a badge program and for which me slot:
 9 am -12 noon or 1 pm-4 pm. $10. One adult is admitted free for every 5 children. Extra adults and tag along siblings pay $4 each.
